Riding the Spiritual Wave
There is such a gift in traumatic events. (The intimate details of mine are irrelevant. You can insert your own drama here if you must.) And oh yes, suffering can bring you to your knees, but when searing pain breaks you open, you’re left with incredible options. You can decide to retreat back into the discomfort and familiarity of your former life or to invite in the extraordinary. Sitting on a plane headed for Vancouver, I opened Eckhart Tolle’s The POWER of NOW, and was overtaken by a book so inspiring, that I had no choice but to be transformed to the depth of my being. I’ve never, ever looked back. Not even a glance. (If you haven’t read Tolle’s work, I highly recommend it.) That day in January of the year 2000 I began allowing my spirit to observe my mind and from then I read, watched, studied, attended workshops and took courses on anything and everything that would feed my soul. |

Now riding the spiritual wave is a journey inward. If you’ve ever spent time by a large body of water, you know that waves can be totally unpredictable! On this voyage, the route is rarely direct and there’ s never a time when emotions aren’t flowing. Over time there were flashes of incredible stillness. Fleeting as they were I felt it. I sensed what every person who had walked this path before me was talking about and completely understood why that feeling defied description. I’d found that best I’d been searching for and it filled me in everyway possible! Then in one extraordinary instant I realized it had always been there ~ at my core ~ just waiting to be acknowledged! It was ME, my blessed sacred self. My connection to all that is. Oneness with the Divine. Divinity. Always there. Always available. Eternal. ME. |

And it’s you too. YOU. ME. US. ONE Spirit, shared by each of us with ALL that is. Over the coming months I have the privilege sharing my passion for Spirit with you. I welcome your suggestions, questions and appreciate your feedback. July 15, 2010 – It’s never surprising but always an event when a Smooth Jazz superstar reaches the number one position on our TOP 30 Countdown. Case in point David Benoit’s new album ‘Earthglow’ has just produced our new number one tune with ‘Will’s Chill.’
July 17, 2010 - I believe in being the best you can be. It isn’t always easy, sometimes we end up on a slippery slope no matter what, sometimes, one too many glasses of wine can blur the line between smart and not so smart, sometimes our deep-seated crap just gets in the way. But I try anyway.

July 17, 2010 - When you hear people say meditation, there is a great chance that you will often think of Buddhist monks humming with their hands on their large beads. You will also imagine bald people in yellow robes reaching enlightenment.
July 17, 2010 - Many would say yes, meditation takes up too much time!
July 17, 2010 - Spiritual awakening refers to soul awakening, self-development, and self-transformation, leading to a balanced and integrated life, internal joy and a more fulfilling spiritual life purpose.
July 15, 2010 - “It's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.” This anonymous line from an e-mail packed with insightful gems sums up exactly what I’ve been feeling lately.

Drenched in Catholicism and rebelling all the way, I spent great deal of my younger years as a bad girl. I did very naughty things, with very naughty people, in very naughty places but despite my wicked ways I had a stunning career, a sought after lifestyle, did pretty much whatever I wanted, whenever I pleased and always thought I loved every minute of it. I was on the fast track to fame, fortune, bigger and better but somehow never found best until the world as I knew it came to a crashing halt in August 1999.
