Mysticism Meets an Impasse - Eckhart Tolle and Anthroposophy
August 20, 2010 - In my experience questing for understanding of spiritual aspects of the human community, I have had occasion to encounter some unusual synchronicities. One such event emerged while perusing a lecture by noted Initiate and spiritual scientist, Rudolf Steiner. More

Living Consciously: August 20, 2010
Marcus Aurelius asked “What am I doing with my soul?” He suggests we interrogate ourselves to find out what inhabits our “so-called” mind and what kind of soul we have right now; that of a child, an adolescent, a predator orits prey? More

The Real Science Behind Lucid Dreaming
August – 20, 2010 - Lucid Dreaming is Conscious Dreaming and is the ability of awareness that you are dreaming. In a nutshell, you are aware that all the occurrences you are experiencing are actually within a dream, while you are dreaming. More

Dreaming a Prayer for an Enlightened Future
August 20. 2010 - I've been getting a lot of emails to join prayer groups for the healing of the oceans, the forests, the earth; and just when it seems to me that people are starting to actually wake up, I get other emails that say 'the gods are angry', 'the earth is angry', 'these catastrophes are happening in areas where people have been evil for too long and god is teaching a lesson'. They reek of judgment, fear, and projection. More

On the Trail of Love
August 19, 2010 - It’s hard to turn away from spirit, and not become egotistic.
Although, the corollary is also true - that is, without love imbuing one’s spiritual wisdom, another form of egotistic destitution can play out. More

Lucky Charms, Amulets, Talismans, and Their Protective Power
August 17, 2010 - For ages, cultures all over the world have worn and used charms, amulets, and talismans as a way to protect them from harm and other unknown forces. A great common example is the crucifix. More

Celebrate Joy of Life by Practicing Osho’s Active Meditation
August 16, 2010 - Everyone wants to get the best out of their lives as life is short and you have millions of things to do in your entire lifetime. Therefore, it is said that enjoy as much as possible because no one knows what is going to happen tomorrow. More

Respectfully Yours…Unconditionally!
August 16, 2010 - Def: respect; to admire, to place in esteem, to regard, to be considerate of
Respect must be earned. How often do we hear this? What do you think?
I disagree with the statement. More

SUCCESS versus FAILURE.. which is a better TEACHER?

Smile TherapyMarch 25, 2010 - In my opinion, I believe Failure is a great teacher. This presumes that you don’t get over discouraged, throw in the towel, and quit.

Consider the basketball contest  that is close all game, hard fought and is decided in the final seconds by a single point. What happens? The winner moves on to the next game. The winner feels pretty good as in the end, it’s another victory. Most concerning, when you win, many issues ,mistakes, problems and ‘sins’ get covered up with the win. With the exception of the most driven of coaches like Lombardi, Landry and Wooden, the mistakes are, for lack of a better word, overlooked.

Now what about the team that played just as good or better, and for whatever fateful reason, came up a point short. They have a ‘L’ in the Win/ Loss column. While the winners are out celebrating, the losers are combing through the entire game wondering… ‘what if we did this’ or ‘we should have done that?’ Where do we need improvement so we aren’t even in a position to lose that game the next time? Today at Smile-Therapy: Life Lessons and some Final Thoughts on Winter Olympics 2010

2010 Winter Games in VanvouverMarch 5, 2010 - As life is, it moves pretty fast and with the 2010 Winter Olympics come and gone, we are onto the next great thing. Before we leave this behind, I wanted to share some final random thoughts, life lessons and general comments on the 21st Winter games at Vancouver Canada. In no specific order..

Ø  First what a superb host city. Everyone seems so friendly and gracious, and Vancouver showed the world  that a beautiful,  classy production can be put on without spending gobs and record amounts of money. Hats off to our Canadian neighbors to our north.

Ø  How about the intense competition, the incredible talent, endless effort and sacrifices made in this, and likely every Olympics?

Ø  Next it was very pleasing that the whole world can come together peacefully, yet competitively, and have games in a civilized, fun and spirited manner with respect and dignity for all participants. More

Today at Smile-Therapy:  We honor a legend on his Birthday :  Theodore Geisel (born March 2, 1904 - died September 24, 1991)

Dr Seuss - Theodore GeiselMarch 2, 2010 - Commonly known as Dr Seuss, Geisel may be THEE  best children’s book authority that ever has lived.  Known for his witty and life lesson rhymes, Seuss has authored countless treasures such as ‘Green Eggs and Ham’, ‘Horton hears a Who’, ‘The Cat in the Hat’ and arguably the most famous of all, ‘The Grinch who stole Christmas.’ Most remarkable is the fact that adults can learn quite a bit as well from his works.

Let’s enjoy a few of the legend’s classic rhythmic quotes. Take whatever lessons you wish from each…

“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is you-er than you.”

 “I can’t put it down. And I won’t; after all…A person’s a person. No matter how small.”

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself, any direction you choose. Your out on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one, who will decide where to go.” More

Smile Therapy: Phenomenal story of Determination and Never Giving Up

Do you believe in miracles. How about Dreams.. do they really come true?

Once upon a time there was a man who had a deep, desirous passion for the game of golf. As a kid he would chip and putt for hours. 150 shots out of a sand bunker was like a real day at the beach. As life went on this young man went through middle school, then did well in high school, and started making an impact on the “grown up” golf tournaments in Central NY. Soon he was winning all the local tournaments. Next up was a trip to South Florida on a golf scholarship where he did well. Well enough to start wondering... hmm, maybe I can make it out there in the bright lights of the PGA tour. More
