SUCCESS versus FAILURE.. which is a better TEACHER?
Consider the basketball contest that is close all game, hard fought and is decided in the final seconds by a single point. What happens? The winner moves on to the next game. The winner feels pretty good as in the end, it’s another victory. Most concerning, when you win, many issues ,mistakes, problems and ‘sins’ get covered up with the win. With the exception of the most driven of coaches like Lombardi, Landry and Wooden, the mistakes are, for lack of a better word, overlooked. Now what about the team that played just as good or better, and for whatever fateful reason, came up a point short. They have a ‘L’ in the Win/ Loss column. While the winners are out celebrating, the losers are combing through the entire game wondering… ‘what if we did this’ or ‘we should have done that?’ Where do we need improvement so we aren’t even in a position to lose that game the next time? Today at Smile-Therapy: Life Lessons and some Final Thoughts on Winter Olympics 2010
Ø First what a superb host city. Everyone seems so friendly and gracious, and Vancouver showed the world that a beautiful, classy production can be put on without spending gobs and record amounts of money. Hats off to our Canadian neighbors to our north. Ø How about the intense competition, the incredible talent, endless effort and sacrifices made in this, and likely every Olympics? Ø Next it was very pleasing that the whole world can come together peacefully, yet competitively, and have games in a civilized, fun and spirited manner with respect and dignity for all participants. Today at Smile-Therapy: We honor a legend on his Birthday : Theodore Geisel (born March 2, 1904 - died September 24, 1991) Let’s enjoy a few of the legend’s classic rhythmic quotes. Take whatever lessons you wish from each… “Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is you-er than you.” “I can’t put it down. And I won’t; after all…A person’s a person. No matter how small.” “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself, any direction you choose. Your out on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one, who will decide where to go.” More

July 24, 2011 – Even though most people seem to believe that Amy Winehouse died of an overdose Scotland Yard is saying, so far, her death is “unexplained.”
July 23, 2011 – It’s sad to say that many saw this coming. According to reports Amy Winehouse was found dead in her home today. Sky News and BBC reported police sources as confirming the 27-year-old singer's death.
- While in deep hypnosis I lifted her arm and with suggestion told her to go back to her most current past life. When her arm plopped down she found herself in a tent.
As Raymond Charles Barker wrote in his classic book Treat Yourself To Life: (paraphrased) I have discovered that the rules laid down for the good of humanity and its progress work only when they are interpreted in terms of the inner person, not the outer person.
- For many years now I’ve consciously, actively been on my spiritual journey. It’s been a twisty, curvy kind of off road track, meandering here and there, sloughing it up hills, careening out of control down hills.
- Myth 1 - "Tarot cards can predict the future." Predicting the future is not difficult we can all do it. If for example you know someone who is consistently spending more than they earn and paying for it by building up a credit card debt then it's not hard to predict where that one is heading.
- I’ve heard it said that holding on to unforgiveness is like taking poison while hoping the other person will die. The truth is, unforgiveness punishes you far worse than the person who did you harm. Chances are they have gone on about their life, clueless to the fact that you are still suffering and full of anger.
- Grammy Award-winning vocalist Sade has announced her highly anticipated return to the live stage, and fans in North America will see her first. Her tour begins on June 16, 2011, in Baltimore, MD, at the 1st Mariner Arena.
- As a teacher of how to use one's mind to manifest the things a person wants, I very often get the objection, "But what if what I want isn't what the Universe, my Higher Self, wants for me?"
- The Sanskrit for Horoscope is “Kundali”. The birth chart or natal chart in Sanskrit is then called “Janma Kundali”. By definition a horoscope depicts the position of all the planets in heaven for given date, time and sun sign. This date and time is critical because planets are in constant motion and their positions are continuously changing.

March 25, 2010 - In my opinion, I believe Failure is a great teacher. This presumes that you don’t get over discouraged, throw in the towel, and quit.
March 5, 2010 - As life is, it moves pretty fast and with the 2010 Winter Olympics come and gone, we are onto the next great thing. Before we leave this behind, I wanted to share some final random thoughts, life lessons and general comments on the 21st Winter games at Vancouver Canada. In no specific order..
March 2, 2010 - Commonly known as Dr Seuss, Geisel may be THEE best children’s book authority that ever has lived. Known for his witty and life lesson rhymes, Seuss has authored countless treasures such as ‘Green Eggs and Ham’, ‘Horton hears a Who’, ‘The Cat in the Hat’ and arguably the most famous of all, ‘The Grinch who stole Christmas.’ Most remarkable is the fact that adults can learn quite a bit as well from his works.
