Dreaming a Prayer for an Enlightened Future
August 20. 2010 - I've been getting a lot of emails to join prayer groups for the healing of the oceans, the forests, the earth; and just when it seems to me that people are starting to actually wake up, I get other emails that say 'the gods are angry', 'the earth is angry', 'these catastrophes are happening in areas where people have been evil for too long and god is teaching a lesson'. They reek of judgment, fear, and projection. More

Celebrate Joy of Life by Practicing Osho’s Active Meditation
August 16, 2010 - Everyone wants to get the best out of their lives as life is short and you have millions of things to do in your entire lifetime. Therefore, it is said that enjoy as much as possible because no one knows what is going to happen tomorrow. Different people have different ideas of enjoyment, some enjoy by making a lot of girl friends whereas others are happy with one, some party, smoke and drink a lot whereas other are happy with their daily routine of work. But in reality everyone is missing something that is, peace and relaxed mind which however is difficult to attain in the current scenario.

Presently, the days are very bad due to recession which is prevalent in all parts of the world. Market is going more and more down and a lot of employees are losing jobs in most of the sectors be it IT industry, BPO, tour and travels, real estate, retail and so on. People are also facing pay cuts and exploitation at work place due to same reasons. This is leading to people suffering form problems such as frustration, depression, anxiety and alike. Even the people who use to enjoy a lot in their lives are not enjoying it anymore. One way to bring that happiness and joy back into your life is to start doing active meditation, which is designed by Osho. More

Meditation - A Waste of Time?

July 17, 2010 - Many would say yes, meditation takes up too much time!

Time is one of the few commodities we cannot save or store. Everyone is allotted 24 hours in a day and most of us have busy lifestyles with little time to lose. It would appear spending ½ to one hour sitting perfectly still doing nothing might easily fall into the category of a useless activity devouring precious time.

A Zen practitioner meditates between 6 and 8 hours each day for 20 to 25 years before they permanently balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain. I don't know about you, but I don't have 20 to 25 years to become "enlightened." I can barely squeeze out an extra hour per day, let alone 6 to 8.

Why would anyone even consider meditation?

Well, let's look at the benefits achieved through regular practice first. Then I will explain how to quickly enter into Zen-like states and meditate like the masters.

First the benefits:

- Regular practice actually sharpens the mind so you will achieve more in a shorter time period.

- Science has proven the mind/body connection exists. When achieving the Alpha, Theta and Delta brainwave states we actually reduce production of the stress hormone cortisol. Stress is now considered by many to be responsible for upwards of 95% of all human dis-ease.

- Allows for the body's immune system to function efficiently. More

Astral Projection Meditation

March 23, 2010 - What in the world is astral projection? This is the question I had, what seemed like a lifetime earlier, when I was just a teenager. While cutting study hall and surfing my school library I picked up the strangest mysterious book I had ever seen.

The subject of the mysterious book was astral projection. That day the course of my life shifted because I brought out that humans is creatures unfamiliar even to themselves. That lying hidden in every single person is a sublime side to our being just sitting there waiting to be awakened.

In the book it fully said how you could achieve astral projection. This book really told how to astral travel to destinations in the real world and other destinations that you can't even imagine. It described how we are all far grander than the ideal we were assured since birth that we are material bodies and the physical is our complete being. When in fact our physical bodies are only a small part of our total being. More

Sympathetic Vibration Of Brain Waves And Brain Wave Therapy - by George Colle
February 11, 2010 - Sympathetic vibration of brain waves sounds complicated but it really is quite simple. The undeniable truth is that the brain controls all the other parts of the body and if the brain can be trained to operate more efficiently it can help to vastly improve your health. Using sympathetic vibration of brain waves and brain wave therapy is undoubtedly the best way to achieve this.

Sympathetic vibration of brain waves work like this; if two very close frequency tones are played, one in each ear, The brain will try to find a balance between the two. If one frequency of say 450 Hertz is played in one ear and another of 442 hertz is played in the other, the difference will be 8 Hertz. This will cause a sympathetic vibration of brain waves at this 8 Hertz frequency. It has been proven that these lower frequencies can be very beneficial in inducing meditative states that can drastically increase the brain’s efficiency.

It is very easy to listen to these close frequency tones, some refer to them as binaural beats. They are readily available as downloads on various web sites on the Internet. Some even have free downloads you can try before you purchase anything. All you need is a set of stereo headphones so you can listen to a different frequency in each ear, and you’re all set. More
